Frosthaven – Snowdancer & Frozen Fist: Ice Bosses Awaken! Painting with Lotus-Mildy Cat

In Episode 2 of my Frosthaven miniature painting series, I paint Frozen Fist and Snowdancer—two characters with very different designs, connected by the cold and snowy atmosphere of Frosthaven. I begin both miniatures with Panzer Grey primer, followed by a controlled white drybrush to reveal the raised details and create a simple underpainting. Frozen Fist’s icy arms and Snowdancer’s skin are painted with Glacier Blue, helping the two characters feel connected while keeping their individual designs recognizable. For Frozen Fist, I continue with layered leather, fabric, bone, jewelry and natural details using Leather Brown, Bonewhite, Light Flesh, Burnt Red, Moss Green and Sky Grey. The leather areas are shaded with Agrax Earthshade to define the folds, seams and recessed details. Snowdancer is painted with a softer and lighter palette. After applying Glacier Blue to the skin, I work on the leather pieces, clothing, jewelry and metallic decorations with Leather Brown, Bright Bronze, Gold and Off White. Agrax Earthshade is again applied carefully over the leather areas to make the sculpted texture easier to see without darkening the entire miniature. To complete both bases, I use snow diorama effect and natural stone details, giving Frozen Fist and Snowdancer a shared Frosthaven battlefield atmosphere. All miniatures in this video were personally painted and filmed by me as part of my Frosthaven board game miniature painting series.
