Evolution: New World is an updated and extended anniversary edition of the classic Evolution: The Origin of Species that was designed by Dmitry Knorre (Ph.D. in Biology) and published way back in 2010. This science game shows in a simple and fascinating way how nature and natural selection work. This is not a textbook, but rather a visual and fun demonstration of the principles of evolution on your table. In Evolution: New World, you create animals and give them traits essential to surviving in an ever-changing environment. Over the course of the game, your successful animals evolve and procure food, while poorly adapted species become extinct or fall prey to predators. At the end of the game, victory points are awarded for your surviving animals and the traits they possess.
