Watch “Duel Of Meloch: Reboxing: Insert of the Week,” a board game unboxing for Duel of Meloch from Pecktec Games on BoardGameVideo.
Description provided by Pecktec Games on YouTube:
Duel of Meloch is a tight, asymmetric 1–2 player duel that mashes Scythe and Expeditions into one box. One player runs a full Scythe faction (with a new Constantinople faction and player mat), the other runs an Expeditions mech + character + companion, and both race to place four stars on a shared double-sided Triumph Track. The map is tiny (only 10 locations + 2 lakes), so every turn matters, and Meloch cards keep the race close.
This week’s Insert of the Week is a full rebox and organize of the stock components. I walk through what’s actually in the box, where the factory insert falls short (especially with the mixed Scythe/Expeditions pieces, cards, tokens, and minis), the custom 3D-printed solution I designed and printed on the Bambu Lab P1S, how the trays handle sleeved cards, mechs, workers, resources, and the various decks, and whether it actually speeds up setup and teardown.
If you own Scythe, Expeditions, or both, the components are fully cross-compatible in both directions. This is a standalone game—you don’t need the parent games to play.
