Molly House Solo Playthrough | Defiance in 18th Century London
Step back to 1723 and walk the hidden streets of Georgian London in my solo playthrough of Molly House, the immersive strategy game by Jo Kelly, Cole Wehrle & Ricky Royal (illustrated by Rachel Ford) . Playing as one of the brave mollies gathering at Mother Clap’s, I draft vice cards to host secret festivities—sometimes joyous, sometimes risky—while dodging the Society of the Reformation of Manners and its constables.
This solo challenge pits me against the Rookery, an AI opponent representing persecution—from informers to raids. Each turn brings tension: host a masquerade, slip through back alleys, and weigh community versus survival. Can I spark queer joy and resist oppression alone in the dark heart of London?
