You are a vampire managing a tableau of human thralls. Each thrall provides powerful abilities while alive. But you must devour them for blood to survive the night. Every turn you choose: Play a thrall for future power or devour one for blood. 16 turns to survive, 4 escalating blood requirements. As you devour thralls, you collect bond symbols that unlock vampire abilities: Spades for explosive blood generation, Hearts for suspicion management, Diamonds for card advantage. Blood Economy is designed under a 36-card constraint: 30 thralls, 5 vampires, 1 reference/tracker. No dice, no boards, no tokens beyond what you have at home to track turns and resources. Each vampire transforms the strategy completely: the Elder rewards balanced play, the Beast demands aggressive feeding, the Socialite focuses on preservation, and others.
