Description provided by Fun With Boxes on YouTube:

Welcome to Fun with Boxes, Episode 301: Baghdad, the brand new Board Game from publishers Alley Cat Games, designed by Fabio Lopiano and Nestore Mangone In this video I take a close look at the games components for the kickstarter deluxe version of this great looking Board Game with a massive circular game board, that looks very striking indeed. Picture this: it’s Baghdad’s Golden Age, and you’re a Vizier! Your mission? To boost your family’s reputation and make the City of Peace even more amazing. You’ll be moving your Vizier around the city, gathering cool scientific gadgets, teaching students and translating books. Each turn, you’ll draw a card, which will push another card out of your tableau and unlock its special power. Try to build sets of icons to unlock tougher actions and think ahead to finish your goals. Team up to build the Golden Palace, fill the House of Wisdom and send ships sailing down the Tigris. Baghdad: The City of Peace is a hand management game with a huge round game board (Rondel). You earn points for Night Characters, Artefacts, Favour and Shame tokens. The player with the most points wins and becomes the most respected courtier in the City of Peace.
