This is video on the starting set up of Axis & Allies WW2 board game.
Board dimensions: 46 x 24 inches or 115 x 60 cm
This is the continuation of Axis & Allies Anniversary 50, using the 1942 ( NOT 1941 ) set up of the board.
The Allies have a lot more work to do as Germany and Japan are hogging a lot of land they have sneaked in China and Soviet Union.
The NEW same units in 1941 set up are there in this 1942 version twist of Anniversary 50.
It is a choice to play the National Objectives, choosing to play them does make an incredible difference in the game. You earn extra IPC's and your mind is set on the objectives which can be mis leading from the actual goal of getting the Victory Cities to win the game ( which makes both games amazing ).
Using the same 3 piece board, set up is almost the same, but you will find the unit roundels dotted in territories ( i.e for the Axis ).
In the 1941 set up video, the Set Up Chart for Japan it has on the left 1941 and on the right 1942.
Players choose sides who is Axis or the Allies. The United States player must remember to also play China as part of there turn.
A slight different in 1942 is the play of order compared to 1941.
