Watch “Astro Knights Eternity Review - No Shuffling Ever!!,” a board game review for Astro Knights: Eternity from Meeple AF on BoardGameVideo.
Description provided by Meeple AF on YouTube:
Astro Knights Eternity takes everything that worked in Astro Knights and cranks it up without bloating the experience. This is still a fast, tactical, cooperative deck builder, but now it has deeper progression, smarter enemy design, and a structure that actually rewards repeat play.
In Astro Knights Eternity, you and your team are defending the universe from powerful Void bosses, each with their own mechanics, pacing, and ways to absolutely ruin your plans. Turns are quick, decisions are sharp, and the game wastes zero time getting to the good stuff. There is no deck shuffling, no dead turns, and no filler. Everything you do matters.
What really stands out is how approachable this game is without being shallow. It is easy to teach, easy to start, and still delivers meaningful choices every round. Managing your resources, timing your upgrades, and coordinating with your team feels great, especially when a plan comes together right before the boss does something awful.
Eternity also adds more structure for longer term play. New heroes, new bosses, and modular content keep the experience fresh without turning it into a campaign you feel obligated to finish. You can jump in for one fight or string games together when you want more continuity.
This is the kind of cooperative game that works just as well with newer players as it does with experienced gamers. It is fast, tense, and satisfying without being exhausting. If you like cooperative deck builders that respect your time and still make you feel clever, this one deserves a spot on your shelf.
