Fourth part of a campaign in "American Tank Ace: 1944-1945" designed by Gregory M. Smith and published by Compass Games. This is a solitaire game of armored combat in Europe during and after the Normandy invasion in June of 1944.
If you haven't watched the previous three parts, it would be a good idea to check those out, if not for narrative reasons, then at least to learn more about the game and its mechanics.
After losing our initial mission in the M4 Sherman "Butcher Boy" which sadly did not survive an encounter with a German StuG IIIG Tank Destroyer (Part 1 of this series), followed by a success in a relatively easy fight with some infantry. Unfortunately the career of "Butcher Boy II" was short as the next mission included a Pz V Panther, which made short work of our trusty Sherman. It's on to "Butcher Boy III" - can this one last?
