From BoardGameGeek
As daylight fades and darkness approaches, the balance between the sun, the moon, and the horizon begins to shift. Every move changes the landscape, and every card brings a new opportunity to reshape the fading light. In this contest of timing and anticipation, knowing when to rise and when to fall is the key to staying ahead. Duskline is a card shedding and hand management game in which players compete to play their cards or force others to run out of options. Each turn, players must play cards higher or lower than the current card, depending on whether the active direction is UP or DOWN. Cards are divided into Moon, Horizon, and Sun types, and changing the card type triggers a collection phase in which players recover cards from the table into their hands. Players can also play consecutive sequences of cards in a single turn. A round ends when a player empties their hand or cannot make a legal play, with points awarded according to how many cards the other players have remaining.
