From BoardGameGeek

Players ride the rhythm of a fast-paced card contest where cooperation can appear for just one trick before everyone returns to chasing their own score. Each hand is a tense balance of trust, timing, and prediction, as players decide when to go alone, when to combine strength with a neighbor, and when to commit to a bid that could double their rewards-or leave them behind. Tandem Trick is a trick-taking game for 3–4 players in which players must usually follow the lead suit, but may sometimes “ride along” by combining a same-suit card with the card played by the active player on their right. The combined tandem value is treated as a single strength when determining the winner of the trick. Each player must bid once per round by predicting how many tricks they will win; a successful bid doubles trick points and may award bonus points based on bid order. A 0 bid is a misère declaration, rewarding an intentionally exaggerated 1,000,000 points if successful.
