Drone Front: Skirmish is a standalone tabletop miniature wargame focused on small-unit combat in contemporary drone saturated conflicts. Players control individual troops, specialists, weapons and unmanned systems during tactical engagements fought across terrain on the tabletop. Rather than representing the broader battlefield covered by Drone Front: Operations, Skirmish concentrates on the actions and capabilities of small units and individual assets with specific focus on drone warfare, UAV, UGV and USVs are all included. Movement, shooting, line of sight and combat are resolved using tabletop measurements and dice. Modern battlefield technologies, including unmanned systems, allow players to employ reconnaissance, attack and support capabilities alongside conventional infantry during scenario-based engagements. Drone Front: Skirmish belongs to the same modern-warfare game family as Drone Front: Operations, but it is a complete standalone game and does not require Operations to play. -description from the designer
