Players roll eight custom dice and use numbered and spin-symbol results to claim Shot Cards from a changing display called The Rally. They combine the cards to construct recognisable table tennis shots, including Push (∂1), Flick (1σ), Smash (111) and Swipe (θ1θ). Players pursue higher-scoring combinations while deciding how far to push their luck. The game draws on notation developed in Spin, Speed and Strategy: A Mathematical Guide to Table Tennis. Backspin (∂), topspin(σ), sidespin (θ) and hitting force (1) become visual elements within the dice-and-card mechanics. No table-tennis knowledge is required. Players can treat the symbols as patterns while using probability, mental arithmetic and tactical decision-making. Those familiar with the sport can also recognise the stroke structures represented by the combinations. Visual Quick Guide is available as images: Six illustrated cards explaining the game from setup to final scoring. Designed to provide a quick introduction alongside the complete rulebook. -description from the designer
