In Buried Memories, the game box is your digsite. Players are explorers, searching the layered remains of forgotten civilizations. Dig through the excavation site, recover precious relics, complete ancient statues and vases, and decide how far you're willing to push your luck before hidden creatures force you to stop. As objectives are completed, sealed envelopes unlock new content, new artifacts, and new ways to explore the mysteries of the past. On your turn, reveal as many accessible tiles as you dare from the dig site. Each artifact may bring valuable points, but collecting two matching creatures ends your turn immediately. Gather gemstones, assemble vases and statues, and manage risk carefully to reach the score goal before your rivals.
