From BoardGameGeek

Testfire Initiative is a scifi vehicle combat skirmish game played on an 8 by 8 grid with modular scatter terrain and 4 units per army. The game works with an alternating activation system to keep players engaged. Every machine has its own set of stats - Health, Movement, Range, and Damage - plus a distinctive attack pattern and powerful unique abilities like leaping over obstacles, repairing friendly units, laying down smoke screens, or risky overcharged shots that can backfire spectacularly. Combat is made to be easy to learn but has some depth to it: you've got direct fire, explosive area attacks, pushing enemies around the battlefield, and even ramming them. The rules are straightforward and easy to pick up which makes this a great wargame for beginners. Matches are fast and brutal, usually wrapping up in 15 to 20 minutes. To win you must destroy every unit from the other player's army. -description from the designer
