Dice Tiny Town Duel is a 2-player roll-and-write game using dice and a pencil. Two players compete over 9 rounds to build the finest village. Both players share the same three dice, but each chooses how to use them by placing Selection Cards in front of the dice they want to claim. The result of the dice determines the shape of the tetromino or pentomino block drawn on your sheet, and the building and nature drawn within it. Each round follows the icon on the Round Track. On Sun and Moon rounds, the first player places cards openly, and the second player cannot place a card of the same color across from the opponent's. On Dark rounds, both players place their cards face-down at the same time, free from the color restriction. On Dark rounds, you can draw an extra nature or building icon and send an invitation to a visitor you want in your village. Two pentomino cards can only be used once in the whole game, so use them at the right moment. Spend star tokens to reroll the dice or shift their values, and earn more stars by completing full rows or columns on your village sheet. After 9 rounds, compare villages. The player whose village earns more Prestige points - from buildings, nature, star tokens, and satisfied visitors - wins. Build a village more charming than your rival's! -description from the designer
