Halloween mischief is afoot in Girls vs Ghouls, a competitive team game of hidden identities and strategic neighborhood control. Girls vs Ghouls is a hidden identity game designed for extroverts and introverts alike where victory is achieved through strategic action. With identities hidden until the neighborhood is won, players are free to bluff, betray, befriend, or be silent, enabling everyone to interact in their preferred style on their path to neighborhood dominance. Set in a cul-de-sac besieged by the undead, a team of cunning Ghouls in disguise scheme to ensnare unsuspecting trick-or-treaters in their haunted houses. Meanwhile, the gutsy neighborhood Girls plot to take back the block, willing to sacrifice their hard-earned Halloween candy to lure the young kids to safety. Players are secretly assigned to one of the two teams, each side maneuvering for control of eight flippable tile houses around the cul-de-sac. As players move about the neighborhood, they use Treat cards to publicly influence where the trick-or-treaters go, and Trick cards to secretly boobytrap the houses. Each round ends with the innocent trick-or-treaters visiting the house with the most appealing treats, awarding points and securing the house for its controlling team. Victory goes to the team with the most points after three rounds, tallied from the trick-or-treaters led to their houses plus bonus points for each controlled house. -description from publisher
