Very Bad Lands: Brachio

Very Bad Lands: Brachio

Light weight: Learn it in minutes

From BoardGameGeek

In Very Bad Lands, you will play different Dinosaur species battling for your very survival. Disasters are a constant threat, so you'll have to make the right choices to avoid them! On your turn, you will make a simple, yet crucial, decision: Keep your card or swap it, either with the person to your left or with the card in the middle of the table. You don't want to have the card with the lowest number, because at the end of the round, when all cards are revealed, the Dinosaur with the lowest number loses 1 Life! Too easy? Actually, nothing was easy during the age of the Dinosaurs… Some cards have disastrous effects that turn the whole game upside down! The good news is that your Dinosaur has a special power that can help you survive, or that might push your opponents to the brink of extinction. The game ends when a Dinosaur loses all its lives, and all the others share the glorious victory! Every game promises a unique and epic gaming experience filled with dizzying highs and crushing lows… and yes, CHAOS. Will you have the wits to keep your Dinosaur alive through the effects of meteorite strikes, landslides, and droughts; or will your species be condemned to the tar-pits of history? For more fun, try mixing this box with Very Bad Lands - T-rex KEY POINTS • Twice the fun: Both Very Bad Lands boxes (T-Rex and Brachio) can be combined for even more disasters, Dinosaurs, and, of course, chaos... for up to 10 players! • One very simple choice: Keep your card or swap it? A straightforward choice to make once per turn, keeping in mind the Dinosaurs' unique powers. • Spread chaos: Not only do the Dinosaurs' power throw a wrench into the game's mechanisms, but the effects of the Disasters also create chaos. • Inclusive: Perfect for 3 to 6 players, it's the ideal game for gatherings with friends and family. • Thematic immersion: Let yourselves be transported into the prehistoric world with wonderful illustrations straight from the pen of the game's designer himself: Marc Larivière! -description from the publisher
