Marvel United: Pet Companions

From BoardGameGeek:

Kickstarter Exclusive that brings a whole new feature to the game in the form of adorable and resourceful Companions to help the Heroes in their battles. From a loyal telepathic dog to a deceitfully cute “cat”, with maybe a land shark or frog in the mix as well, these little critters will stand united! Companions is a new feature players can choose to add to their game, giving them more options and strategies (plus an adorable sidekick). If a Hero chooses to take a Companion with them, they simply shuffle the 3 Companion cards into their Hero deck and place the Companion's game piece next to their Hero. Every turn, the player can move their Companion one Location for free. While Companions are not considered Heroes (they don't take damage or suffer other effects), they do provide company so Heroes don't count as being “alone” in their Location. Companion cards work just like Hero cards, providing an Action to the Hero and a Special Effect to their Companion. The Pet Companions Kickstarter Exclusive expansion comes with: 1 Redwing Game Piece 1 Goose Game Piece 1 Jeffrey Game Piece 1 Throg Game Piece 1 Cosmo Game Piece 1 Alligator Loki Game Piece 3 Redwing Companion Cards 3 Goose Companion Cards 3 Jeffrey Companion Cards 3 Throg Companion Cards 3 Cosmo Companion Cards 3 Alligator Loki Companion Cards 3 Lockheed Companion Cards
