Maul is a competitive two-player card game with a fantasy theme, based on a tournament between two rival teams. Each team is comprised of 10 players that have varied skills and attributes to suit their position/role. Players battle through 6 rounds of full-contact action, with the team holding the Detonator at the end of each round gaining points. The team with the most points after 6 rounds wins. The play area has 5 slots on each side that are available for players, and the location of the cards in relation to each other determine how they can interact. Turn-based actions such as passing, supporting, and hitting are taken, and can be backed up with Boost cards that have different effects on play or players! -description from the publisher
