Dawning Horror is an expansion for Four against the Great Old Ones. It contains 5 programmed adventures, each featuring an Investigator and a team of three Helpers. The adventures are: The Horror of the Mine Howl of the Mutated Night Tour Return to Antarctica The Inheritance This expansion is a prequel to Four against the Great Old ones, since the heroes are peeking beyond the veil of sanity and normality for the first time, and advantages gained in Dawning Horror can be transferred to the main game in the form of Upgraded Investigators. It can be played with Investigators from the base game, Carcosa Rising, or from two brand new classes: the Archaeologist and the Redeemed Cultist.
