From the press release: "The Star Wars PocketModel TCG combines the best features of classic TCGs with those of "constructible strategy games" (CSGs), a category that WizKids pioneered. This TCG innovation allows players to use characters and action scenes from the movies on their cards to help control their fleets of PocketModel ships as they attempt to destroy each other's objectives. This exciting, easy-to-learn game derives its content from all six Star Wars movies, making it possible for fans of all generations to enjoy battling for control of the galaxy!" The pieces of the model are punched out from pre-painted plastic cards, and snapped together with interlocking tabs. Stats for each model are summarized on the base. Each pack came with a set of cards that were used to enhance the models. Each pack also came with a play mat that summarized the rules and provided the play area. To play the full game, each player needed a thirty card deck, and thirty build stars worth of models. Each model has one, two or three (or more) small stars on the rear of the base. This is the cost of the model. The more rare the model, or how large it is, the more build stars it costs. Related to: Pirates of the Caribbean PocketModel Game
