I am a writer with an ocarina obsession! (check out my author website lydiasherrer.com) Zelda - Ocarina of Time was my favorite game growing up. When I realized the ocarina was actually an ancient instrument played for thousands of years and it is still played today in orchestras across the world, I decided to become an ocarina player. A background as a pianist and recorder player equipped me to quickly get a feel for this new instrument, and I have adored combining my love of music and of all things geek into one passion. My goal is to bring you your favorite scifi and fantasy tunes on the haunting notes of the beloved ocarina, from Zelda to Star Wars, Lord of the Rings, and beyond.
