About CRT Afterglow, provided by the creator on YouTube:
Travel back to a time when cathode ray tube (CRT) televisions ruled the living room. We have scoured through thousands of hours of old VHS tape footage to bring you a broad selection of vintage TV commercials and other interesting content. We have over 4,000 videos here, spanning roughly the 1980s through the 2000s (and a few outliers earlier and later). We have local news and advertising content largely from the Midwest United States (notably Kansas City, Chicago, Springfield Missouri, St. Louis, and Great Bend Kansas) that we have saved from extinction and some television programs on here that were once considered lost media. We hope to continue expanding this archive and help bring the past back to life.
