Watch “Zombie Princess Board Game Review | A Trick-Taking Tale of Princesses and Zombies,” a board game review for Zombie Princess on BoardGameVideo.
Description provided by Tabletop Gaming Guild on YouTube:
In this video, I review Zombie Princess, the trick-taking card game designed by Ted Alspach and illustrated by Alfredo Cáceres.
Zombie Princess is the sequel to Rebel Princess. Twenty-eight days after the princesses fought off unwanted marriage proposals, the princes have returned as zombies. The outbreak has spread throughout the kingdom, and the princesses must now face an ever-growing zombie horde. Players take on the roles of legendary princesses, each with unique abilities that can provide information, flexibility, or other advantages during play.
Inspired by the classic trick-taking game Spades, Zombie Princess features bidding, special player powers, team or individual play, and four distinct rounds, each with its own rule modifications that change the flow of the game. Players bid on how many zombie hordes they expect to defeat each round while navigating the challenges created by the changing round rules and character abilities.
The game supports 3–6 players, plays in approximately 30–60 minutes, and is recommended for ages 15 and up.
Whether you're a fan of trick-taking games, enjoyed Rebel Princess, or are looking for a unique twist on classic card game mechanics, this review takes a look at what Zombie Princess brings to the table.
