Wort Slam turns Stadt-Land-Fluss (Categories) into a real-time race. Letter cards lie face up on the table, and a die roll picks a category from the top category card. Everyone shouts at once: a word in that category starting with one of the open letters. The first correct answer claims the letter card, and rare letters are worth more points.
When a player holds 7 letter cards the round ends and points are counted. The first player to win 3 rounds wins the game. Action cards change the rules mid-round.
There is no hand of cards to shed and no turn order: all players compete simultaneously, so 2 players is as tense as 7.
