Watch “WLOG - Napoleon at Waterloo (Sabin house rules) (English language),” a board game review for Napoleon at Waterloo on BoardGameVideo.
Description provided by Riccardo Masini - WLOG on YouTube:
Since 1971, Napoleon at Waterloo has introduced several generation of players to hex and counter wargames. And now its historical simulation value is increased by the house rules proposed by Philip Sabin, the author of Simulating War.
Let’s take a look…
UPDATE: Since Professor Sabin has released a Second Edition of his tweaks to NaW just while I was publishing this, the video will be Episode One of a mini-series dedicated to creation, evolution and streamlining of house rules and their historical value. Considering the relevance and depth of Professor Sabin's work on wargaming and historical research, I think that this will be an opportunity for some interesting content.
