Corrections or Comments: - Around 23:30 I didn’t tuck a bird card behind the nest for the automa. - I probably should have taken the Junglefowl as it would have given me 2 eggs a turn even at a cost of 1 point. This would have given me that “free” egg action (2 rather than 3 admittedly) each turn - but this would have let me avoid taking an action just to get eggs as I was hurting for them. This swift Wingspan game does all the right things for a “pocket” edition. It not only makes the game much smaller but it also simplifies and streamlines the gameplay making for a quicker experience. Great quality components (cards, wooden feather tokens, gold speckled eggs). I really love the one row of bird cards, the food and bird market, and the short time of the game. It really does make it more accessible while keeping the strategy and fun. The price point is amazing too! Only $20USD. The solo game mode is really great too! Very simple upkeep that keeps play moving quickly. Does a great job. A very easy way to make the game easier and harder as well.
