You start by secretly choosing the location of your characters, and partially, decide on where the opponent on your right will get to place his/her crystals. Then starting with the 1st player, he gets to play as many cards from their hands as they want trying to either get a crystal of his color, or tries to defeat an opponent. Both actions will score the player a point, but the player need to keep in his mind that he would only receive 3 cards at the end of his turn to a maximum of 7 cards, as a hand limit. While a player is taking his actions, an opponent could interrupt, if he has the necessary card, to try and put a stop to the active player. The game offers a range for strategies for players to use in getting the necessary points to win. The asymmetric abilities of each factions makes up for high replay ability, so, playing with different factions each time would provide you with a different experience. Although It’s a fighting game, the actions you take are light hearted and doesn’t cause hard feelings, because it plays relatively fast, in about an hour. We were having fun beating each other. I only played it once, and I need to play it more to get to know the other aspect of the game, so for now I rate this game as 8/10, just for the fun we’ve had from our 1st session of the game. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ .MY RATING: .8.0/10. ⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️⭐️ NAME: #wildlands DESIGNER(s): #martinwallace ARTIST(s): #alynspiller #yanntisseron PUBLISHER(s): #ospreygames @ospreygames RELEASE YEAR: #2018 🔶🔹🔶🔹🔶🔹🔶🔹🔶🔹🔶🔹🔶🔹🔶🔹🔶 👥: 2-4 Players ⏱: 30-60 Mins 👨‍👩‍👧‍👦: 14+ of Age 🕵️: 2.33/5 Complexity-Wise (MEDIUM LIGHT) ⭐️: 7.6/10 🔶🔹🔶🔹🔶🔹🔶🔹🔶🔹🔶🔹🔶🔹🔶🔹🔶 #boardgames #boardgamesdojo #gamenight #boardgamenight #boardgamegeek #bgg #tabletop #analoggames #wildlandsboardgame #strategy #fantasy #fighting #wargame #miniature #areamovement #handmanagementgames #secretunitdeployment #variableplayerpowers
