Unmatched - Battle of Legends Volume 3: Unboxing

Description provided by David Niecikowski, PhD on YouTube:

In battle, there are no equals. Unmatched is a highly asymmetrical miniature fighting game for two or four players. Each hero is represented by a unique deck designed to evoke their style and legend. Tactical movement and no-luck combat resolution create a unique play experience that rewards expertise, but just when you've mastered one set, new heroes arrive to provide all new match-ups. Combat is resolved quickly by comparing attack and defense cards. However, each card's unique effects and a simple but deep timing system lead to interesting decisions each time. The game includes a double-sided board with two different battlefields (one of which is Santa's Workshop, which features a new map mechanism), pre-washed miniatures for each hero, and custom life trackers. As with every Unmatched set, these heroes can face off against fighters from other sets – even the villains in Unmatched Adventures. The Epic Conclusion to the Battle of Legends Trilogy! Good things come in threes. Unmatched is the critically acclaimed, best-selling game of tactical combat between unlikely opponents, and the Battle of Legends badge has always been the epitome of “unlikely”. In the final chapter of the Battle of Legends trilogy, four disparate heroes come together to see who reigns supreme: • Blackbeard the pirate • The beastly Chupacabra • The cursed and gifted Pandora • The Trickster Loki Blackbeard, Chupacabra, and Loki are all runners-up from the deck design contest. The set features a double-sided board with two new battlefields: Santa’s Workshop and Venice. As with every Unmatched set, these heroes can face off against fighters from other sets – even the villains in Unmatched Adventures – making it a must-have for experienced players or a great entry point for new ones. Have no fear! The Unmatched game line will continue to grow with new heroes and battlefields in a wide array of sets! #unmatched #unmatchedbattleoflegends #takethatgame #restorationgames #handmanagementgames #sologame #fightinggames #skirmishgame #davidniecikowski Unmatched battle of legends volume 3 Unboxing restoration games board card fighting miniature skirmish julie david niecikowkski tabletop two player hand management
