Under Our Sun - Solar-Storm Pledge Unboxing

Description provided by Fishisforcat on YouTube:

Welcome to Fish is for Cat! We unbox the Boardgame 'Under Our Sun' from Tabletopper Games. I found this game by chance on GameFound when they were running the campaign. It's from a small new studio located in Germany and is their debut game! Intrigued by the theme of surviving in a post-apocalyptic world, I took a closer look. What in the end drew me in was that it wasn't just a 'post-apo-humans-destroyed-their-world' scenario but actually this time humanity wasn't at fault. A massive asteroid hit the sun and through the resulting solar flares climate on earth changed for the worse. Not only did most technology stop working but vast areas around the globe were turned into desert wasteland. Here come our characters into play, we don the roles of survivors and leaders in this bleak sun blasted world and try to rebuild what is left. A bit of exploration, a pinch of character development and all wrapped in a nice coat of semi-coop gameplay :) Semi-Coop you might ask? You can play it completely coop but to make it really shine there is a hidden traitor mechanic, so one of your fellow gamers on the table might betray you at any time. We got the Solar-Storm Pledge which included 3 expansions, a miniature expansion for the characters of the corebox and 2 new characters which brings the player count up to 6 (if need be, it can also be played solo). This all sounded very tasty so a year later here we are, ready to wander into the wasteland! All enemies are depicted as cardboard standees, but if you are a miniature fan like me check out their next campaign: https://gamefound.com/en/projects/tabletopper-games/under-our-sun---miniature-expansion This new campaign provided miniatures for all the enemies in the game as well as a print rerun (hopefully) and if we are lucky new expansions! ============================================================================== Like & Subscribe == https://www.youtube.com/@Fishisforcat?sub_confirmation=1 ============================================================================== Or check out our other https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLpYzGNh0cI_59X49LQO7FcXMwKdcr2fRH&si=vkmwSU65tp80YXDG ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ Or if you liked the ending song we made with AI check out the full version of {Link will follow!} Or out other AI playlists: ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLpYzGNh0cI_6F7FXDrpXSMU9vxBLtQIsb&si=gvIvj-r1hKOSVFx6 https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLpYzGNh0cI_44O5ThAaQEXXB4t_RfhWdf&si=PggWCNh1L2uRNYIA https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLpYzGNh0cI_77GsYtS411UrrCQKW4mV1S&si=v7L95oVrcwQJN9y2 https://youtube.com/playlist?list=PLpYzGNh0cI_5fBCqw3MYdokDndD_kUQ4j&si=bTEJVmAxkQvX1NwH ------------------------------------------------------------------------------ We release an unboxing and a matching song once a week, in between we put fun songs and stuff that happened during out gaming sessions!
