Un-unboxing Calico Super Big thanks to @AsmodeeNordics for this game! Let's unravel the magic of Calico, a delightful tile-laying game that weaves together the joy of quilting and the charm of playful felines. Get ready to create the coziest quilt and entice the cuddliest cats in this enchanting competition! 🧵🎲 In Calico, your objective is to craft the most inviting and aesthetically pleasing quilt by strategically collecting and placing patches of various colors and patterns. Each quilt has a specific pattern to be followed, challenging you to create delightful color and pattern combinations that will not only appeal to the eye but also attract the adorable feline companions. 🌈🐾 Gameplay is elegantly simple: on your turn, choose a patch tile from your hand and sew it into your quilt, then draw another patch to replenish your options. As you skillfully create color groups, you have the opportunity to adorn your quilt with charming buttons. And if you manage to arrange a pattern that catches a cat's eye, it will joyfully settle on your quilt, adding to the warmth and charm of your creation! 🎨🐈 When the game draws to a close, you tally up your points earned from buttons, the delightful feline friends you've enticed, and how accurately you've completed your unique quilt pattern. It's a delightful journey where creativity meets strategy, and every quilt tells a unique story. 📖💫 Will you create the coziest quilt, a haven for the most cuddly cats, and score the most points?
