Take part in the construction of the Opera Magna and become the most renowned master builder of the Renaissance. Travel across the markets of the Mediterranean to acquire precious goods, refine them in your workshop, and deliver them to the grand construction site. Every decision shapes your path to glory. PLAN, BUILD, AND LEAVE YOUR MARK. Balance workshop upgrades and deliveries to become the most prestigious builder of your age. AN ELEGANT AND DYNAMIC MARKET SYSTEM Where the value of resources changes with every action. Opera Magna is the result of a collaboration between two of the most respected names in the Italian board game scene: Tommaso Battista (designer of Barrage and D.E.I.) and Stefano Castelli (creator of Potion Explosion and Chamber of Wonders). The game is a resource-management Eurogame built around mechanical elegance, delivering a deep and layered gameplay experience within a streamlined playtime. Set in 15th-century Florence, the game casts players as merchants supplying the grand construction site of the Basilica. At the heart of the experience lies a dynamic market system in which resource values shift with every action, and where managing what you leave to your opponents is just as crucial as choosing what to bring into your own workshop. -description from the publisher
