Watch “Translating Pokemon Master Trainer: Expansion Pack, plus the A.I funny attempt (Pocket Monsters),” a how-to-play guide on BoardGameVideo.
Description provided by Franksie's Mediocre Tabletop Gaming on YouTube:
So through the use of dictionaries and the internet and actual Japanese speaking people I have made a translation of all the rules and components for the expansion.
I also ran them all through an A.I translation and to be honest that was pretty funny so I kept all them in too. It's still basically playable just from the computer attempt, but some more finer points and phrases do get some some clarification.
I think I had some other things to add here, but I can't remember now. I think it may have been referencing either Porygon or Jynx as to why it never got a translated release? Anyway, enjoy!
I don't have a shredder so I borrowed a video from TonysCardShop for shredding Pokemon cards, just as I couldn't find a stock video of Pokemon chips getting shredded. Find the channel here: https://www.youtube.com/@tonyscardshop3970
