About Siege Works: A Napoleonic Siege Roll & Write, from BoardGameGeek:
The guns are loaded. The trenches are dug. The enemy fortress looms ahead, its walls standing between you and victory. As a British commander in the Napoleonic Wars, your mission is clear: reduce the enemy stronghold to rubble and take it by storm before time runs out.
In Siege Works, a solo roll-and-write wargame, you will oversee every aspect of the siege. Dig trenches to advance under fire, deploy artillery to batter the defenses, and choose your moment to launch a final, desperate assault. Every decision counts, do you bombard the walls for a major breach, risking delays, or charge through a minor gap before reinforcements arrive? The defenders won't sit idle; expect sudden counterattacks, deadly sorties, and unexpected setbacks from the event chart.
Featuring action allocation, point-to-point movement, dice-based combat, and siege attrition mechanics, Siege Works puts you in command of a tense Napoleonic siege. Every decision matters as morale dwindles and time runs out. Will you claim victory, or be forced to abandon the siege in defeat? The fate of the fortress and your army rests in your hands.
