Tokaido Playthrough on Board Game Arena | Relaxing Journey Strategy Gameplay

Description provided by Tabletop Gaming Guild on YouTube:

In this video, we play Tokaido on Board Game Arena, the peaceful journey-based board game where players travel the famous East Sea Road of Japan while collecting experiences, meals, souvenirs, and panoramic views. Watch as we make strategic choices about when to move, which locations to visit, and how to maximize points while balancing timing against the other travelers. This playthrough showcases the full gameplay experience, including route planning, player interaction, and scoring opportunities. In Tokaido, the player farthest behind on the road always takes the next turn, creating a unique pacing system where moving farther ahead can mean giving opponents multiple actions before your next turn. Players score points by: Completing panoramas Collecting souvenir sets Visiting hot springs and temples Eating meals at inns Meeting travelers along the journey Whether you’re learning the game or just want to see how it plays online, this video gives you a clear look at how Tokaido works on Board Game Arena. 👍 Like the video, 🔔 subscribe for more board game playthroughs, reviews, and tabletop content, and comment if you’d like to see more Board Game Arena gameplay!
