Watch “This Co-Op Survival Game is BRUTAL… Can Your Elephants Make It Across the Savanna? TEMBO Review,” a board game review on BoardGameVideo.
Description provided by Tantrum House on YouTube:
What if a cooperative board game asked you to guide a living herd of elephants across a deadly savanna… while predators hunt you every step of the way?
In Tembo, players work together to survive harsh terrain, avoid lion attacks, manage energy, and strategically move their herd across an ever-changing landscape. This isn’t just point A to point B—it’s a full survival puzzle where every decision matters.
In this video, Will & Sara break down how Tembo works, why the spatial puzzle is so clever, and what makes this cooperative system both challenging and incredibly thematic.
Published by Sidekick Games, Lucky Duck Games, and The OP, with artwork from Vincent Dutrait, Tembo delivers a tense, high-stakes experience for 1–4 players, complete with a solo mode, campaign mode, and multiple difficulty settings.
If you love cooperative games that actually FIGHT BACK—this one’s going to hit your table hard.
