The River 2 Player Board Game Review with Spread & Bear

2 Play or not 2 Play

Watch “The River 2 Player Board Game Review with Spread & Bear,” a board game review for The River from 2 Play or not 2 Play on BoardGameVideo.

Description provided by 2 Play or not 2 Play on YouTube:

Buy this game: https://amzn.to/3pbcQ4c 2 play, or not 2 play - a series of videos in which a husband and wife decide which board games to play as a couple. Tim (Spread) & Lizzie (Bear) give quick and fun reviews about board games from two people whose tastes 'may' differ ! All the games played are assessed as 2 player games, even if they may support a higher number count. Then Spread & Bear will mark the games from their own specific stand point out of 10, and then the scores will be added together to rate the game out of 20 ! Here's a link to our collection of games on BGG...if you want us to review a specific game on the list, drop us a comment below, and we'll try to sort it for you https://boardgamegeek.com/collection/user/spreadthinly

About The River, from BoardGameGeek:

In The River, you and the other mayoral players each struggle to create the best pioneer settlement by developing land along a river bed in your town, collecting resources from the area, and constructing buildings. As you explore and build up the untouched frontier, your workers will settle down along the way, meaning that your other workers will shoulder more of the burden to do what you want to do, which includes making nicely organized landscapes to please the aestheticians in town. Every decision counts in this fast and streamlined tile-placement game, and in the end the player with the most impressive settlement will win!
