The Phantom of the Opera - Playthrough in Essen

Description provided by 보드라이브 BoardLiveGame on YouTube:

Join Hans and Jay from Cardboard East for a tense 2-player playthrough of The Phantom of the Opera, a trick-taking card game of sharp timing and mind games. One player is the Phantom, trying to complete a musical score by advancing note tokens, while the other becomes Christine, disrupting the composition and blocking the final note. Each space on the score tells you whether the Phantom wants to win or lose that trick, so every single trick matters. The special ceiling number adds an extra layer of complexity. When that number is played, both players immediately exchange two cards, revealing information and shifting plans. If the Phantom succeeds on that ceiling trick, the music jumps forward. If Christine wins it, she pushes the notes back. If you enjoy tight, asymmetric 2-player games where every trick feels like a turning point, you will love this playthrough.
