Is Invincible: The Hero-Building Game worth it for solo players? In this Solo Mode Check I take on the Dire Wolf bag-builder to find out — and yes, I'm mostly excited for a bag builder that knows the importance of a lil' click clack cube action.
Hello there and welcome to the Boardgaymergirl channel! If you are new here, my name is Natalie and I like to play all things board games, but from a primarily solo perspective that may or may not include some silly antics.
Today we're looking at Invincible: The Hero-Building Game — a cooperative bag-builder for 1 to 4 players, set in the Invincible universe created by Robert Kirkman. You play as either Invincible, Atom Eve, Rex Splode, or Robot, building up your heroes, pulling cubes from your bag to fight villains, thwart schemes, protect civilians, increase your heroes powers, and ultimately work to save the day from some ultimate big bad.
However, does the solo mode hold up? Would this multiplayer game be worth it if you ONLY ever played the game solo? I have some thoughts on that and I tell you why in this episode of Solo Mode Check.
