The battle spans several connected theaters instead of one isolated battlefield. Rohan fights Orcs on the Pelennor Fields while Gondor defends Minas Tirith. Aragorn, Gimli and Legolas battle through Pelargir to join the wider conflict. Meanwhile, Frodo and Sam make their way through Mordor toward Mount Doom. Detailed figures and multiple routes to victory aim to connect these simultaneous struggles into one large confrontation.
