The Hobbit There and Back Again | Part 1: An Unexpected Party - Solo Playthrough

Description provided by One Last Hand on YouTube:

Hey everyone, welcome back to One Last Hand! Today we’re diving into The Hobbit: There and Back Again from Office Dog Games, and starting with Part 1 – An Unexpected Party. Bilbo’s quiet evening doesn’t stay quiet for long as dwarves, Gandalf, and Thorin arrive to cause all sorts of chaos. This is a solo roll-and-write adventure through Middle-earth, where we’ll be drawing paths, feeding dwarves, collecting swords, and trying (not entirely successfully) to get everyone to Bag End before the night is through. 📖 In this episode: Full solo playthrough of An Unexpected Party How the dice-drafting and path-drawing work Scoring explained as we go Thoughts on pacing, production, and theme The exact moment I realise feeding dwarves might not be worth it 🎮 About the Game Publisher – Office Dog Games Players – 1 to 4 Playtime – 30 minutes Ages – 10+ Mechanics – Roll & Write, Path Building, Story Chapters 🔗 Learn More on BoardGameGeek: https://boardgamegeek.com/boardgame/436215/the-hobbit-there-and-back-again Follow One Last Hand: YouTube – /@onelasthand Instagram – /@onelasthanduk TikTok – /@onelasthand Twitter – /@onelasthand Patreon – /@onelasthand (behind-the-scenes blogs, campaign playthroughs & free posts) If you enjoy chilled solo playthroughs and story-driven board games, hit Subscribe and join the community.
