The City of Kings gives the player an incredible amount of control over how their characters are built, and careful character building is at the heart of successfully meeting the evolving and narrative-driven sequence of challenges standing in the way of victory. The enemies the Kings will face are fierce and critical hits are always just around the corner if the player has not adequately planned their course of action. This story opens with a disturbance in the Oak Wood, a usually peaceful area of the land just outside the city walls. The news is sinister from these parts and the kings need to act quickly to defend the land before all hope is lost. The time for heroism is nigh!
