About Bretwalda: Vanished Kingdoms, from BoardGameGeek:

9th century AD, Britain. The island is divided between several competing kingdoms collectively known as the Heptarchy. It cannot prevail any longer, the war for supremacy over them all is about to begin. Subdue the minor kingdoms of Kent, Alt Clut, Dumnonia, and Gwynedd. Use diplomacy, coercion, and, if necessary brute, military strength to overcome your rivals. Vanished Kingdoms is an expansion for the Bretwalda base game bringing new life to neutral units and expanding the game to include more historical kingdoms. The expansion adds four minor neutral kingdoms (Kent, Alt Clut, Dumnonia, and Gwynedd) with their own units, capitals, and automa cards governing their actions. -description from publisher
