This battle was fought between the armies of Peru and Gran Colombia, which at the time included the modern-day countries of Colombia, Ecuador, and Venezuela. Although little known outside these countries, it was a key battle in defining the spheres of influence of the countries. During each turn, players will alternate activating their units one at a time until all units are either exhausted or the players choose to stop activating them. Each activation allows a unit or stack to perform one action: movement, combat, or fire. After each activation, units must always check their readiness status. Victory conditions involve the elimination of enemy units and control of key geographical objectives. -description from designer From their website...
