The best two-player game we've played is Targi. My wife and I love two player only games and we've played a lot, and Targi stands out for having a lot of depth for a smaller game. Well, Targi the Expansion adds even more depth and options to the original. A couple of notes: The Tribe Cards in this expansion replace the ones in the original, that's why there are so many. The Sand Dune Cards are a new spot you can place a worker instead of on a border card. Water is a new resource but also worth points at the end of the game. And finally, yes the expansion fits in the original game box.
