About The Crimson Queen: The Battle for Wonderland Combo Edition, from BoardGameGeek:
Step into a twisted, enchanted version of Wonderland where every card is a weapon, every suit a kingdom, and every round an all‑out battle for power. The Crimson Queen takes the traditional trick‑taking games of Hearts and turns it into total mayhem. Players lead five distinct realms-the traditional Hearts, Spades, Diamonds, Clubs, and the all new Moons-into a cunning struggle for control of the throne. With vibrant illustrations that bring Alice, the Mad Hatter, and the enigmatic Queen of Hearts to life, every card is infused with whimsical character and strategic potential in The Crimson Queen.
On the gameplay side, modular deck design ensures each session can scale effortlessly for 2–8 players, offering options to tune the experience toward speed, strategy, or chaos. Traditional trick‑taking mechanics are elevated by combo‑driven scoring and the ever‑unpredictable Chaos Deck-bursting with one‑time effects that can upend an entire round and reward bold, creative play.
From bluffing and baiting to sabotage and strategic alliances, The Crimson Queen creates dramatic, unpredictable moments that keep every player engaged until the final crown is claimed.
