Description provided by Trueflight Silverwing on YouTube:
Drones of Akarios is a gameplay expansion for Stars of Akarios. It includes unique drones, new pilots, a standalone story, and set of scenario-changing event cards!
A couple of quick notes upfront:
The Drones of Akarios expansion can seamlessly integrate into both new and existing campaigns.
You'll need Stars of Akarios 1 or 1.5 to use the Drones of Akarios content.
The Drones of Akarios includes three significant components: drones, a standalone story with new pilots, and scenario event cards.
"The Peanut" is a standalone experience, playable within a Stars of Akarios campaign or as a separate mini campaign - starting loadouts are avialable if you choose this route. Alternatively, if beginning a campaign, "The Peanut" is inserted after the prologue. Already mid-campaign? Insert it whenever.
This expansion connects 3 playable scenarios with two potential outcomes. Engage in two space combat missions (3 available) and explore The Peanut asteroid in world exploration. Throughout the story, unlock two new pilots, six drones, unique upgrades, and co-pilots!
