Eight Wizards have met at the Spellstorm to obtain the Storm Shards, powerful magic artifacts that can only be gained once every 1,000 years. Who among you is skilled enough to weather the vicious storm? Choose from 8 wildly asymmetrical characters with their own unique magical powers. Will you win by having a strong economy, purchasing powerful Gems and even Dragons? Will you rush them down with red Fire cards? Or do you lean more into the long-term Ice magics, overwhelming the opponent's deck and causing them to slide helplessly into the depths of the Spellstorm. You'll constantly have to adapt your strategy after each battle. Players draft a new card between each battle, slightly shifting their strategy. During a battle, players simultaneously play Spell cards, blasting each other and dealing damage.
