Solforge Fusion - Define "Starter Kit" - Board Game Review

Description provided by The Broken Meeple on YouTube:

Solforge Fusion - Define "Starter Kit" - Board Game Review From Richard Garfield, creator of Magic the Gathering, and Justin Gary, creator of the Ascension: Deckbuilding Game, comes SolForge Fusion, the next evolution in trading card games. Experience the first ever Hybrid Card Game with over 15,000 cards in the base set alone! In SolForge Fusion, all decks are algorithmically generated so no two decks are alike, then you take two decks and shuffle them together to battle! You and your opponent compete in strategic lane-based combat. When you play a card it levels up, allowing you to access new powers and abilities to defeat your opponent and damage their creatures. The first player to bring their opponent down to zero health wins! *************************************** SUBSCRIBE ► https://www.youtube.com/channel/UCmjyHBcqxxQjrg0KUN944dQ?sub_confirmation=1 KIENDA SPONSOR REFERRAL LINK The Broken Meeple is happy to be sponsored by Kienda.co.uk where you can buy great games at great prices from a warehouse local to where I live! One single batchelor from the UK talking about his passion for board games and the people who play them! I support small content creators, board game cafes and go against the status quo when it comes to the board game industry. I give my honest opinions without bias towards any publishers or designers and will not hold back if I don't like a game. The Broken Meeple is a variety channel that hosts all kinds of board game content from reviews to Top 10 lists to playthroughs to live stream collaborations with special guests (predominantly small channels who deserve more exposure). I look forward to engaging with you, the community on my live streams or in the comments on my videos! *************************************** Timestamps: 00:00 - Introduction and KIENDA Promo 00:59 - Background and Overview 04:34 - Generic Fantasy Theme AGAIN 06:58 - Fails At Being A Starter Kit (rant mode) 10:29 - Cheap and Inconsistent Artwork 12:18 - Feels Like Every Other Dueling Fantasy Game 13:41 - Fairly Quick But Don't Forget To Level Up!! 15:28 - Who's The Game For? 17:27 - Summary and Final Verdict #brokenmeeple #solforge #magicthegathering #solforgefusion #boardgames #boardgame #lukehector #supportsmallcreators #tabletop #tabletopgames #bgg #boardgamer #boardgamereview *************************************** Useful Links Become a Patreon ► https://www.patreon.com/TheBrokenMeeple Facebook ► https://www.facebook.com/thebrokenmeeple Twitter ► https://twitter.com/TheBrokenMeeple Instagram ► https://www.instagram.com/thebrokenmeeple Podcast ► https://soundcloud.com/luke-hector-broken-meeple
